DownloadWe will post our 2026 scholarship application encouraging local high school students to apply for financial assistance for their first year of college or trade school.
We will offer several scholarships that are specific to areas of study that can benefit the San Luis Valley including agriculture, education, healthcare, etc.
We are proud to honor these local high school seniors:
South Fork Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of our first-ever Scholarship Program. These scholarships were offered to seniors attending Del Norte, Creede, Center, Sargent, and Monte Vista high schools on a competitive basis. Five scholarships were originally funded at up to $2000 each. Six applications were received, and they were all so remarkable that the SFFF Board of Directors approved the funding of all six. Each one of these applicants have demonstrated academic excellence, community involvement, respect among their peers, teachers, employers, and have solid plans for furthering their educations at different universities and colleges.
SFCF wishes to congratulate each of these exceptional students and we know they will all be successful in their college careers.
