Scholarships and Grants

We believe the youth in our area will shape the future of the San Luis Valley, and we encourage them in pursuits that will benefit our community.
Each year, the South Fork Community Foundation will award a one-time
scholarship of $2000 to support continued education for graduating high schools students from the San Luis Valley. The Foundation
seeks to prioritize students pursuing fields of study that benefit or reflect our region’s unique strengths. These areas of study include but not limited to: hospitality, forestry, natural resources, agriculture, environmental studies and related trades or professions.
Funds may be used toward tuition, books, or on-campus housing
at an accredited college, university, community college or
vocational school beginning the following fall semester.
